World Water Crisis: An Exposé from GFA World
WILLS POINT, TX — GFA World is one of the world’s largest faith-based providers of clean water to the nations of South Asia. The workers at Gospel for Asia (GFA) witness the reality of the global clean water crisis every day.
Just over two decades ago, a supporter of GFA urged the organization to initiate a well-drilling project. The love and compassion of Christ had moved so deeply within his heart that he offered to fully fund the first ten “Jesus Wells.” Since then, Gospel for Asia (GFA) has drilled more than 30,000 clean water wells across the South Asian subcontinent.
In addition to improving access to clean water for families and villages in developing countries where infrastructure we take for granted is virtually non-existent, Gospel for Asia (GFA) has also taken the responsibility of informing the public of the global water crisis. To wit, they have recently released the third in a series of Special Reports discussing this crisis that extends far beyond developing countries, even into North America.
According to the latest Special Report, Water Stress: The Unspoken Global Crisis,
More than two million Americans lack access to running water and indoor plumbing.
Another 30 million Americans live in areas lacking access to safe drinking water!
